About Christina
Christina Hartery was born in Cardiff South Wales in the UK
As a true artesian her artistic use of flamboyant colour has become the signature of her creative expression.
Having always been a creative since childhood, loving texture, form and the colours of the natural world. Enjoying portraiture and human form, she incoprates this in the expression of her work.
Christina originally trained as an illustrator and a visual artist. She has been working with painting and drawing, using a variety of mixed media including textiles for over 25 years.
Christina is known as an abstract, fantasy and illustrative artist taking on commissions from all over the world.
Christina has mentored with renowned artists, throughout her career and developed various genres and series of artworks many of which she has exhibited and sold internationally. She also teaches art therapy and expression in accompaniment with her coaching.
Christina has been a creative director during her working career, in the arts, fashion and media, the entertainment industry, and as a creative director developed various projects for people and their brands.
Christina has been responsible for a wide variety of projects that require art direction within advertising, marketing, publishing, fashion, photography/media, film and the Internet.
